The BSC is home to one of the most advanced supercomputing facilities in Europe. Their AI Factory program supports startups building foundational AI technology — providing access to world-class compute, co-innovation support for SMEs, and a network of industrial partners across the European AI ecosystem.
What This Means for Lokutor
Being part of the AI Factory gives us access to:
- Compute resources on the BSC’s supercomputing cluster for training and fine-tuning our models
- Technical mentorship from BSC’s world-class research team
- Validation of our architecture’s scalability
Why It Matters
The voice AI industry has been dominated by incumbents who rely on massive GPU clusters, creating high barriers to entry and high costs for developers. Lokutor’s bet is that the entire voice stack can be rebuilt to run efficiently on commodity CPU hardware — making real-time voice AI accessible to everyone.
The BSC AI Factory program validates that this approach is not just viable but necessary. We are thrilled to collaborate with Europe’s leading supercomputing center in pushing the boundaries of what’s possible on CPU.
